Like a mallard on a still farm pond, I appear to be floating placidly, but I’m paddling furiously underneath. Good things are happening:
- I’m proud to report that the Garden Shop at the State Botanical Garden of Georgia will be carrying some of my jewelry, at least on a trial basis. I wanted to put together a garden related display, and found a wooden wreath I think might suit (photo on the right). Hopefully the work they chose will be well received and I’ll be able to take more out there soon.
- Two of the bezel mounted pieces featured in the previous post have sold! I’d like to think it was because of this blog, but I’m not sure the buyer reads it. Happy news nonetheless, since I really liked the way they turned out. I’m working on more now.
- I bought an 8″ flat lap grinder from a friend here in town, which is going to make it a lot easier to prep more dichroic cabochons for future work.
